Project Brief
For the Love of Type is book about typefaces written and designed by graphic design students. Each student researched a typeface and typeface designer of their choosing and designed spreads for their typeface. Each student also designed their own version of cover, end sheets, front matter, and end matter.
I researched the typeface Abril from the type foundry TypeTogether. This foundry was founded by Veronika Burian and José Scaglione. I chose Abril because it draws inspiration from classic newspaper typefaces.
