I am a graphic designer with a BFA in Art & Design from California Polytechnic State University (Cal Poly) in San Luis Obispo, California. Art always played a major role in my life. Initially the performing arts held my heart as a theater kid and a cellist but that all changed after I found graphic design.
Design is storytelling through details. Strong design makes life easier, more enjoyable and more interesting. Through detail and nuance within a design, communication is simplified and explained. I am growing as a storyteller and expanding the stories and voices I share.
I am interested in brand identity, interaction and marketing design. Outside of design, I worked as a student leader with Cal Poly Orientation. Through my many roles within the department I learned to love connecting people to the Cal Poly and San Luis Obispo community. After spending countless hours on a computer, I love creating tangible things with my hands such as art, cross-stitch or baked goods.
