Project Brief
This is a rebrand for the San Luis Obispo Children’s Museum which is located in downtown San Luis Obispo. It offers three floors and an outside play space for children and families to explore, discover and learn. The scope of the project included logotype, social media campaigns, business applications, merchandise and brand standard.
The Concept
Safety, Exploration, Growth
As part of the research I completed a variety of mind maps and word analysis. The brand’s intent is to communicate safety, exploration, growth, community and equity. The target audience for this brand is parents, schools and children.
Increasing Diversity, Equity and Inclusion
The project brief stated to increase the focus of diversity, equity and inclusion in the brand. The Explorasphere bookshelf was an Instagram campaign sharing children’s books with topics such as inclusion and diversity.
